Innovation Archive

One hundred years of innovation in digital, open-access format.

“The Cabinet” is a digital tool that groups and classifies the collection of Grifols’ main innovations over almost 100 years of history, and which facilitates their dissemination.

In accessible and understandable language, anecdotes, interesting facts and the secrets that surround each invention are shared. From the vicissitudes and ingenuity involved in building the first machine in Spain for the lyophilisation of blood plasma, to the development and dissemination of a technique such as plasmapheresis, which revolutionised hemotherapy. These and other pioneering inventions and initiatives are explained in “The Cabinet”.
